It Took One Press Conference For Me To Fall In Love With Chuck Pagano

Ohhhh boy. That got the blood flowing. Everyone was sad to see Vic Fangio go. The Bears defense was so great to watch and carried the team for the majority of the season. I always like the Pagano hire, but I can’t say that I was excited about him either. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Chuck Pagano is a lot of crying, his weird relationship with Jim Irsay, and losing in the playoffs. Through no fault of his own I had the mindset of Gary Bertier in the beginning of Remember The Titans. Like, hey we are cool on defense. We don’t need any of your people. After one press conference Pagano sounds more like Bill Yoast

DON’T LET THEM GAIN ANOTHER YARD, LEAVE NO DOUBT, WREAK HAVOC!!!!

I am fired up. I love Vic, but he’s not really an attacking style DC. Pagano historically is. He loves getting after the QB. More blitzes with Roquan in the gaps and Khalil Mack off the edge. QBs going to the ground and sacking themselves because they have PTSD from the first half. I’m ready for next season.
